we were used as an advertisement at the bounty in fiji...free hats! And that's a gecko hanging from a light in front of the dinner specials.....and there's a picture of fiji....and that is a picture of amy's foot that got really infected after snorkeling....we both got lots of blister from that, but it was soooooo fun!!!! Beautiful...a whole different world

Wearing a skirt on my head to protect my face from the hot sun! :) I wasn't as smart though, when we were snorkeling, unfortunately. My back and legs are still burnt over a week later.. yay merrily yay.


We are standing in front of a place called the blow hole....lucky to see it because the tide has to be just right, but the water splashes up really high out of a rock with a hole in it, like a whale spout.

Fiji

Hello!!! Well, I am in fiji, and I am not posting any pictures at this time. I will later, though. Tis fun and full of joy! The weather of course is very warm, and the water is lovely. We're going to an island called taveuni this evening. The ferry ride will take all night, so we'll probably drink kava on the way. They do that a lot here. And let's see......we met up with a person who is letting us stay in his flat, while he stays at another house. So we have a little place with a kitchen and a toilet and a bed. It's pretty groovy. by the time we get back from taveuni, it will be about time to go to new zealand! We also met a guy who went to the same school amy did in spray, oregon, which has 150 people, so that's kind of weird. What else.....there are lots of mosquitos and cockroaches that fly. Disgusting, but at least they don't kill you. That's what I have to tell myself. Umm........hmm........well, I will probably write more later. I hope everyone is fantastic.
